As a Registered Biomedical Photographer, I was always concerned with getting the details in my images to stand out, whether it was photographing an open heart surgery or the division of diseased cells under a microscope. Providing imagery not only supports the information that is presented but it adds validity. Video is like that because it allows people to see something for themselves, making it easier for them to understand and process the information.. The sensory neural connection that occurs through watching a video also makes the information stick and that is what you want in marketing.
Teaching has always been my passion, but I must admit in the traditional school system, I was probably in the principal’s office more than the kids. My coaching career didn’t last long because I believed that if you came to practice you should get to play. Most parents didn’t see it that way. It was all about winning. However, once I got involved in Special Olympics with kids who were living with a disabilty, I found my niche.
I strive to find the simplest way to present information so that is easier for people to understand and video fits that ideal perfectly.
